As our quest for sustainable alternative green energy solution continues, a carbon fiber composites-intensive 1500kg aircraft used 12,000 super-efficient thin solar cells on its 61m wingspan to collect enough energy from the Sun's rays to power the plane and flew day-night, a 26-hour flight, without fuel at 8,500m altitude at 70km/hr.
